UPDATE: Jury Convicts Joan Orie Melvin On Six Of Seven Charges

A Pittsburgh jury returned its verdict convicting suspended Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice Joan Orie Melvin and Janine Orie, her sister, of charges related to misuse of state-paid employees.  Janine Orie was convicted on all of the six charges against her but Orie Melvin was convicted on six of the seven charges.  The jury was deadlocked on the charge official oppression against Orie Melvin.
