Partial Not-Guilty Verdict In Philly Mob Case
Posted On Tuesday, February 5, 2013
Alleged mob boss Joseph Ligambi was found not guilty on five counts this afternoon, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.
The jury remained deadlocked on four other charges against Ligambi—including the main charge of racketeering conspiracy—and will continue to deliberate on them.
The partial verdict came in the jury’s 21st day of deliberations.
Three of Ligambi’s co-defendants—Joseph Massimino, Damion Canalichio and Gary Battaglini—were convicted of racketeering conspiracy. Another co-defendant, Joseph Licata, was acquitted of racketeering conspiracy.
